Taking Flight into a New School Year

I am so excited for school to start. Every year brings joy and learning to the entire community at Camas Ridge Community School.  This photograph taken last year captures how exciting 2nd grade is in room 13! Notice the bottle rocket taking off. We experimented with baking soda and vinegar to make our rockets launch.  We also made quite the mess.  Always safe with science goggles, it was very exciting when corks popped out of the bottles and a successful launch resulted.

Masterpiece Creation

Second and Third grade students tape off canvas and create original works of art. When we pulled up the tape all the original designs 'popped' out. We love our art at Camas Ridge!

Summer is Here & I have a New Teacher Blog!
